Possibly having begun your day greeting your Lord & mine as soon as you opened your eyes when your alarm clock went off...
Then singing HIM new songs in the shower as you seek HIM early with praises for HIS new day HE has just made for thee & me...
Then enter a business possibly the Dry cleaner to drop off your family's cleaning...and your husbands white dress shirts to be laundered, starched & pressed....
And bring home a completed batch....dropped off on an earlier day...
You routinely give them your business yet they never greet you "Good Morning! How are you?"
They recognize you as a regular and have your order hanging on the cash register stand before you are completely out of your vehicle and have crossed their threshold...
And the first thing out of their mouth is: "That will be $34.95."
Handing them two $20.00 bills they do not say "Thank You" but instead of receiving from you GRAB IT out of your hand in haste saying: GOT IT! Not A PROBLEM!
Now you or I who rose out of bed singing, praising, blessing all along each street and anticipating good things all day....didn't exactly expect a problem????
Why do you think that they think that you are expecting a problem?
What happened to phrases such as: "Thank You" and "You Are Welcome!" ?
The tension created by each mouth that speaks "That's not a problem" as soon as another approaches or asks for something actually creates a stress as he or she chooses not to "Welcome & Give Thanks".
What a happier community of people each person would live among if such phrases would cease to be spoken.
All words & phrases each person ever speaks creates the mood which everyone who will immediately feel upon entering.
